The best way to social distance is to stay home and enjoy your patio or backyard. Let us help you freshen up your indoor and outdoor spaces with our spring cleaning tips.
WINDOWS
Wait for an overcast day and start on the shady side of the house, as direct sun can lead to streaks. Raise blinds or shades and wash windows with Professor Amos’ BOM and a microfiber cloth.
REPURPOSE DRYER SHEETS
Even after they’ve been used, dryer sheets can work magic around your house! Here are some things they can do:
- Buff water spots from mirrors, bathroom/kitchen fixtures and shower doors
- Remove the ring inside the toilet
- Wipe baseboards clean
PATIO FURNITURE
With warmer weather on the horizon, it’s time to get your outdoor furniture ready for lounging. To do this, add Professor Amos’ Shock It Clean to water, then wipe down tables and chairs. Finish it all off with a spray of water from the garden hose.
DUST, DIRT AND CRUMBS
Use a strong adhesive tape or a lint roller to pick up dust, dirt and crumbs pretty much anywhere around the house — lamp shades, drawers, fabrics — anything!
DOORMATS
Trap more dirt by using two mats, one outside the door and one inside. To refresh, hose off and air-dry mats. Vacuum indoor ones on both sides — going over the back will push trapped dirt out onto the floor where it will be easier to pick up.
KITCHEN SINK
Got kitchen stink you just can’t kick? Use Professor Amos’ Fast MM in your garbage disposal, dishwasher, washing machine and all other household drains as a monthly maintenance to remove odor causing build up!
HOME FURNITURE
Pull furniture away from walls and vacuum behind and under it. Do the woodwork and air vents while you’re back there, switch the upholstery tool on your machine to go over both sides of cushions and underneath them. The crevice tool can help degunk along the trim and stitching. For stains or areas soiled from regular use, freshen up with Professor Amos’ Shock It Clean.
SMALL PIECES OF GLASS
Don’t try to use your hands to pick up tiny shards of glass — that’s a bad idea. Just grab a piece of bread and press it down over the area. It should pick up those little pieces you don’t want stuck in your fingers or the bottom of your feet!
Now that you’re home is SQUEAKY CLEAN, it’s time to do the Happy Dance!!
